The financial cost of detecting and clearing UXO can vary per project or surface area. There are possibilities to apply for a contribution. Specific demands are set for the application:
- Publication of the Bulletin of Acts, Orders and Decrees 386 (contribution act)
- Circular announcement of the council funds 2014
- Documents WSCS-OCE (website Dutch association of explosives detection companies)
Detecting and unearthing UXO is a risky business. BODAC has taken out a continuous insurance to cover this risk. However, sometimes it is advisable for the client to take out additional damage insurance coverage. Because of the trust that insurance companies have in the expertise of BODAC, such insurance can be taken out against favourable terms.
